A typical day for me looks like a lot of communication with clients and the team, both via email, Slack, Zoom and in person. Then, sprinkle some strategising, task and time management, some KPI review and reporting and a dash of creativity to bond it all together.

I specialise in project management because I love knowing the ins and outs of every aspect of our digital marketing services and making sure they support our clients in achieving their goals. I also love the people aspect of my work and love delegating, so it checks out.
Building a team that I love working with and being a truly valued partner to our clients.
It has to be the work-life balance. We work 4 days a week only, doing longer hours each day, and are able to decide our work hours to fit around our schedule. We also can work remotely (wherever we are) and can take on any new learning opportunity we are passionate about.
I applied upon the completion of my Master, and was attracted by the high diversity and warm welcome of the team. I was also always interested in marketing and its application in, what I called then, the ‘real world’.
I am inspired by my mentors and past and present colleagues.
Them and Emma Watson who is an activist appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador who also supported the UN Women campaign HeForShe advocating gender equality.
I highly recommend that anyone wanting to get into marketing complete the free certifications offered by Google Skillshop, Google Garage, LinkedIn and the likes.
I would recommend reading some great articles about how to get started, especially focusing on local SEO (Google Business Profile Manager, Apple Maps, Bing Places and more), Social Media, and paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta ads and more).
Outside of work, I love climbing especially outdoor leading and indoor bouldering, and cooking (I also do love eating).
